International Vitiligo Day Portraits

For International Vitiligo Day I decided to create a series of images of people with the skin condition Vitiligo. Everyone who took part in this series lives in the Midlands UK, I wanted these photos to shine a positive light on the subject and hopefully make others look up to them.

They are all photographed in a studio using a black backdrop with the models wearing black clothing. This allowed me to make the images more about the person and their skin; making them stand out within the image. 

Below you will see the final images that I have chosen to exhibit at a gallery and on an advertisement screen.
